HuaTao Zhang is a visual artist. He had shows in Shanghai, Beijing, Toronto, New York, Cleveland, and San Francisco. His art works have been collected by people in Ohio, California, Toronto, New York. In 1988, he won an award in the Stamp Illustration and Design Competition, sponsored by the United States Postal Service.            

            In 1997, HuaTao received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University in Ohio. In 1988, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts / Design at Shanghai Light Industrial College in 1981.
